Description

One of the most iconic images of Marvel's disco sensation ever created, this Dazzler cover is one of only eight painted by legendary artist Bill Sienkiewicz for the series (plus his cover for a Dazzler: The Movie graphic novel), and the only one of those masterpieces to feature her in her signature costume and makeup. The always-fabulous, occasional X-Men member sits at the intersection of music, performance, and glamour, making Sienkiewicz's decision to render her in a synthwave style -- with swirling pinks and purples -- perfectly fitting, given its roots in neon aesthetics and electronic music.
