Dampyr #104 (2008) pages 78-79: Magician's workshop

Kurjak is trapped in a workshop filled with dangerously enchanted gold figurines:

“Aaahh… Is that it? Don't think... you scared me with a few scratches.”

“Ha ha ha! I'm sure I didn't, soldier. So sure, in fact, that, as you'll find out, I'll give you some action to pass the time.”

“Bring it on, slimeball!”

(Sonderling's image was only a mirror that Kurjak breaks, and now his hand is bleeding.) “Ha ha ha!”

“I'm not there with you anymore, Kurjak. But don't worry. You're not alone. This is my magic shop... The magical workshop of Jérôme Sombre, the goldsmith. But also of Sinistrari, the diabolical painter, and of Hyeronimus Sonderling, the collector of wonders. My creatures, be they gold or silver, painted canvas or metal and gears, will keep you company. See you later, Kurjak.”

“This place... actually reminds me a bit of the collection of oddities that Sonderling had on display here in Prague the first time we met him.* But I don't understand how...”
