Dampyr #105 (2008) pages 5-6: I didn't know Hell back then (NSFW)

This issue concludes a pivotal two parter continuing a previous major plot thread, so if you haven't read #104 (posted in this same gallery in its entirety) you might want to do that first. It opens with Druj, agent of Hell, talking with the immortal human Sonderling in his magical art gallery:

“Do you like my paintings, Lady Druj?”

“Too naive, delicate, and unrealistic for my taste. It's clear you had no firsthand knowledge of Hell back then, Sonderling.”

“But I searched for it with all my might. Gerolamo Sinistrari — my name then — was a dedicated painter… and I still have a soft spot for some of those old paintings of mine… like this 'Witches' Sabbath'… which, if you look carefully… I made a small change.”

(The 'change' is that Kurjak is now in the painting, tied naked to a tree, being prodded by hags.) “Ahhh!”

“Ha ha ha!”

“Damn harpies!”

“Don't let your witch simulacra ruin him too much, Sonderling. I want to lay with Emil Kurjak before he dies.”

“To kill him yourself? Have you developed a crush on the Dampyr's companion, Druj? Don't worry. You'd kill him very quickly, but my simulacra keep him alive just long enough, even though he's in intense pain...”
