I am an admirer of Paul Smith's art. He is a very popular artist particularly on his X-Men work. Because of that his original art usually goes for prices beyond what I am willing or able to pay (but worth every penny of it). So I am pleased to add this piece he did for the Sakai Project because not only does it add to my collection another artist take on Usagi, but also provides the only Wolverine that I have.

Was wondering where this went. I was tracking the auction along with some other pieces from the Sakai Project. Ended up winning the Samnee piece, but lost this one. Congratulations!

This piece is better than anything he did on X-men. You can tell he's gotten better over the years. It's killer!

Wow! Paul Smith drawing not only Wolverine, but Usagi Yojimbo as well? Now, I knew Paul had a lot of experience drawing the X-Men, so I knew that he could draw Wolvie, but who knew he could also draw rabbit rōnin? Turns out he can. And very well, judging from this excellent sketch. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
