I feel like there are times where you can look at a piece and tell that the illustrator didn't necessarily set out to be a comic book artist but just an artist. Does that make sense? I saw this on Ebay and I thought that looks like Frank Miller and Tim Bradstreet had a collaboration.

Love this up shot perspective. So much of the form and detail feels defined by the shadows that leaves your mind to fill in the pieces.
