Description

Beautiful last page for the story, "She's Out in Front," stars the blonde bombshell herself, Pussycat with stunning ink-wash work by Jim Mooney. In an ironic twist of fortune, the tables are turned upon the horse racetrack owners who seek to manipulate and exploit Pussycat in their schemes to promote their agenda. They saddle a docile mare for Pussycat to ride upon, to which she says, "Aww, my poor horsie is so slow! How al I ever going to win this race?" Nonetheless, their clandestine scheme backfires on them even though Pussycat's horse crosses the finish line in last place, yet all the other horses are disqualified due the fact that their jockeys were riding their horses backwards, so they could gawk at the gorgeous dame behind them. Pussycat wins the first-prize money and buys the racetrack to turn it into a health farm, dashing the plans of her would-be manipulators.

Even though this piece represents one of the more tamer pages of the Pussycat series, it is still ripe with sexual satire.

Multiple dates on the reverse side (1970 and 1984), as this story seems to have been reprinted several times in different Marvel publications owned by Martin Goodman. Art image is a bit wider at 11� x 15,� due to the magazine format.
