Original comic adaptation of the legendary TV series, world-famous during those years. Stunning original cover art in A3 large format, featuring Uncle Scrooge and the nephews on an adventure, being blasted out of the ground by two powerful geysers while Launchpad McQuack looks on in shock.
The subject was originally conceived, penciled, and inked by Daan Jippes for the U.S. publication DuckTales No. 5 ('The Fountain of Laughs'). This original cover is the subsequent adaptation for the Dutch DuckTales series, penciled by Daan Jippes and inked by Michel Nadorp, who also made minor alterations to Jippes' original design.
This original cover was subsequently published in numerous international editions:
