The Blimp from the Inferior 5, Herbie the Fat Fury, Volstagg the Voluminous, Bouncing Boy, Fatman the Human Flying Saucer, Uncle Marvel

This is one of those goofy ideas that has been in my head for years, and it's good to finally let it out. I could not imagine anyone better than Kerry Callen to draw it, every line on the page exudes pure Silver-Age fun.

If you're not familiar with these characters, the lineup from left to right is

The Blimp, from the Inferior Five
Herbie Popnecker, the Fat Fury
Volstagg the Voluminous, Lion of Asgard
Bouncing Boy, from the Legion of Super-Heroes
Fatman, the Human Flying Saucer
and Uncle Marvel, lovable fraud of the Marvel Family

Kerry also sent me a color print he made of the art (if you'd like one,get in touch with him on Faebook) and a little surprise sketch on the packing material. which I'll include in the additional images. I might have to come up with a Christmas-themed sequel for next year.
