DescriptionSo, when I was doing my sales to pay for all my home projects in November and December, I put up my wife’s Conny Valentina Two Storms piece with her blessing. It broke my heart, but needs be…. Now, nobody purchased it, so…YAY!I then went looking, as I was curious what happened, not seeing newer art by herself during my absence from the hobby. Seeing the tragedy of the house fire and her declining health just broke my heart again, and made me doubly glad we got to keep Two Storms. I don’t know her current situation, I hope she is doing well. During that research, I stumbled across this piece for sale by Matt DiTullio, and instantly became obsessed. A few sales later…and here she is. Absolutely beautiful. The coloring to the paper, the form, the perfection of it. Wonderful. It does seem to have a cut in it, it doesn’t go through just on the surface, but no worries, I still adore it. She has me under her botanical spell! I have two other Ivy pieces coming…one Spring themed, one Fall themed, I just sort of fell into this seasonal theming…and this sings Summer, to me. I am going to commission one for winter…need to wait a bit for $$$ and to finalize my artist choice. :) Thank you Matt! Social/Sharing |

I can't wait for Fall. You know... when the leaves fall off.

HAHAHA! Well, I hate to disappoint you, because while Fall is still an awesome piece, the leaves willl still be there, like the red oaks in my yard....

I like the figure that has the tone and grace of a dancer to be in harmony with the organic flow of the flora accents.

Absolutely, that flow is a huge part of why I love it as well!
