Conan the Barbarian KIng Size 1 - Painted Cover Recreation

I don't usually like recreations, but given the subject matter and this images close ties to my life, no wasn't an option. Plenty to say on this one.
I absolutely love the color changes. Subtle, but far more 'Cimmeria' feeling than the bright blue background. I've seen several of Lucas' Conan cover painted recreations, but this one just blows even those away imho. My favorite 'difference' is simply the more Buscema like Conan than the Windsor Smith original image. This minor/major change really makes the piece unique. Just an amazing painting, at framers and will share in all it's glory when done. I wasn't sure how I felt about the full ornate BWS sig from back in the day included, but at least its an on page homage to the original creator as well. Was great working with Kirk, Lucas' agent as well.
