A haunting image from that classic set. The illustrations from Fabian set a dark tone for the campaign setting.

Excellent Fabian illustration. I really like the treatment for the trees and crescent moon-lit starry night in the background. Man, makes me want to find the right Fabian piece for me (considered one or two in the past but never pulled trigger). really great art.

It's awesome that he was so prolific -- you can bide your time for the right one!

A very pleasing design. The edges and the strong toned areas almost give it the feel of a stained-glass window.

Fantastic use of foreground and background! It really contributes to the overall tone of the piece. The inks and lines are sharp as well. Beautiful!

I'm more of a Hufflepuff guy myself, but I think my wife -TOTALLY- would have been in Ravenloft.

(But seriously, another absolute TREASURE of a gem from an all-time classic gaming set!  Beautiful touch by Fabian here, with rich, luscious shadows and superb lighting, as though the woman is being lit by the ruins behind her.  Fantastic and ethereal, and those TREES!  Just gorgeous.  Another amazing add, Steve!  Where did you find this one?  Huge congrats!)

Acquired via a trade with fellow Fabian collector Miki A!

And #TeamHufflepuff here, too, hahaha...

(and I really love the framing motif that was used here - very elegant.  It feels a bit like a 70's album cover (in a good way), prepping you for a special journey into the realms of the fantastic.  Great piece!)

Hang this next to the Frazetta for best effect!

Haunting tones!  It feels like Fabian pieced this together with a different color for each layer.

At initial quick glance looks simple, but very intricate use of dark and light executing the haunting imagery so well

Fabian. Is this fair lady in danger, or is she THE danger? Poetic haunt-vibes grab hold and drag us closer.closer. My dear friend you have a keen eye for ladies in dark places. O-[mmmmmmm*

Nice depth and contrast with those deep blacks vs the grey tones.  Probably stands out that much more in person.  Congrats, man!
