One of the very few times where Rock got the girl. For some reason, none of the variety stores within biking distance of my home received the following issue. The next OAAW I saw was #262 with Rock meeting up with Easy Co. in the snow. In my mind, there was a missing story where Rock had one additional adventure aboard the PBY that I was desperate to read. A year or two later, I was able to get the missing comic from a mail order company and discovered that because of Russ missing another deadline, a reprint of OAAW #178 was used with a few new Kubert panels added.
