Secret Wars Official Handbook of the Marvel Multiverse #1 cover (2015) - God Emperor Doom with defeated multiverse characters. Miles Morales, The Maker, Iron Man and Fantastic Four

I've been looking for a nice piece of art from the newer 2015 Secret Wars series for several years. I ended up scoring this beauty cover in a trade with Mike Burkey featuring the main villian God Emperor Doom surrounded by defeated multiverse heroes and villains. Considering there's well over 50 Secret Wars covers between the crossovers and variants it's surprising there aren't many cover appearances of God Emperor Doom.

There were a few small digital changes from this original art to the final published cover. Sue Storm and Reed Richards in the top left were swapped out for Jane Foster Thor and I believe Volcanion. In the top right a character was removed who I believe was Molecule Man.

Drawn on 11" x 17" comic art board by artist Mike McKone in pencil and ink. Done as a homage to the Secret Wars #12 (Volume 1, 1984) cover by Mike Zeck.
