Moments of Cerebus - Late Night at Miller's - OAX 2025

Gerhard proved time and time again that the pen is mightier than the sword.

A fine pick up! Not sure why an artist would ever want to retire, but perhaps that is a story for another day.

Cheers to Gerhard! No thought bubbles necessary here. We all have emails we wish we sent, but ultimately sometimes we just need a little breaded fried chicken and art friends to take the pain away of our unrequited comic art requests.

Thinking about 2026 OAX and all the art you can buy...

These beautiful little snippets of Cerebus each tell a story of their own. Gerhard will be missed at OAX 2026 in a couple weeks. He would undoubtedly be my first stop as I would love to pick up another little piece of Gerhard magic.

Always a poignant reminder that, sometimes you can get what you want and still not be very happy.  

A wonderful moment of Cerebus, but also of zingers and ale! Start the countdown! 

Beautiful art that reminds me that I need to finish what I started in 1994 and read the rest of Cerebus, even if the later years of the book have a reputation that doesn't match the earlier years (although one thing that never changed was praise for Gerhard's work).

Really fun and really nicely done. Glad you got it in spite of the "retirement"!
