CLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Original vintage 16.25x20" Courvoisier mat w/10x10.5" opening revealing hand-inked and painted acetate animation production cel featuring image of six dancing mushrooms of varying sizes from the Chinese Dance sequence of The Nutcracker Suite, one of the highlights of 1940's Fantasia and was used in production of the Disney animated feature. Cel comes w/period custom Courvoisier-provided painted bkg. w/mushroom shadows, nicely matching scene despite the finished sequence being played against a black bkg. Back of matted acetate has attached original Courvoisier label. Mat has typical, even aging and some scattered edge wear. Cel has some scattered aging, but cel elements remain complete w/no cracks and would make for Exc. framed display.
