The book is an early prose adventure starring Gambit (Remy LeBeau), the Cajun mutant thief from the X-Men. Set in the shadowy streets of New Orleans, the story follows Gambit as he confronts the deadly Cat’s Claw assassins and the criminal underworld tied to the Thieves’ Guild. This piece was created by Marvel artist Ralph Reese in ink over graphite on Bristol board and originally appeared as a chapter illustration in the novel. 10x10
