Dampyr #105 (2008) pages 15-16: The soul-sucker

Harlan and his ghostly ally Gustav Meyrink are menaced by two Princes of Hell: Alastor the hyena-man, and Dagon the frog-man. Alastor has a Stormbringer-like weapon that consumes souls, whether of man or ghost:

“My blade is thirsty. It will quench its thirst with that restless soul. I leave to you, Dagon, the pleasure of capturing the Dampyr.”

“Your generosity moves me, Prince Alastor. To capture Harlan Draka, I will simply swallow him!”

(Harlan fires his pistol down Dagon's gaping maw, to no effect.) “No! The gun is useless.”

(Meyrink) “I'm sorry, Harlan. I asked Nik if I could help you, but I couldn't.”

“Do you want to find your friend, you pathetic spectre? Come! Embrace the tip of my soul-sucker!”

“The tunnel is shaking!”

“What’s happening?”

“Aah!”

The tunnel wall breaks, allowing the waters of the Vlatva River to wash everyone away. Check out the boulder falling into Dagon's maw in the upper right panel. This is the first time that this series showed Dagon and Alastor in action.
