Description
Trailblazing revolutionary female illustrator/art director Bea Paul creates a three-dimensional mixed media assemblage of cut-out photos, fabric, and cut paper. It depicts two jumping college cheerleaders, each with the Playboy logo printed on their sweaters. Under the jumping co-eds, a stylized fuzzy Playboy Rabbit mascot slides in for the touchdown. The work is housed in a shadow box under glass. The assemblage appeared on the October 1956 issue of Playboy Magazine. This was an early issue of Playboy which was made it's maiden journey in December, 1953. Fabric, Cut paper, silhouetted photographs
