Kitty Pryde by Next Comic Art Superstar John Amor

At first I was a little disappointed that it's Kitty phasing through yet another sentinel, but the more I look at this piece, I totally love it! For starters, I kept looking at it upside down because I believed that Kitty should obviously be upright. But then at some point I realized that the sentinel was upside down, so maybe I'm the problem here and she's doing a backwards dive through it? Yup, that's totally the case here. What a great perspective! Like usual John's use of zipatone makes the piece totally pop. Fun story about this piece. I commissioned him right before his mystery sketch won the 2024 CAF award I recall thinking: Well, he's going to be really in demand after this. It took a while to get this, but it was totally worth the wait.
