Vigilante issue 43 cover recreation by Chris Kohler aka Relhok!

I really enjoyed Vigilante back in the day. The seemingly normal start of a costumed hero, and his descent into madness, violence, and death. Powerful.

The covers for the series are an amazing showcase by a who’s who. Issue 43, this cover, is by an artist from the series as opposed to a guest cover artist, Tod Smith, and it really, to me, captures that 70’s movie grit and tone the series had. Dark, violent, unpredictable. Every bit for Mature Readers.

Chris worked his magic and made this absolutely perfect recreation, which just blows me away. The black is so deep, adore it! Thank you Chris!
