One of three splash images from the first issue of the Walking Dead. On this page, Rick, Morgan, and his son Duane have just looted Rick’s police depot for weapons and Rick’s Sheriff uniform. As they are about to go their separate ways(Rick to Atlanta and Morgan bunkers in the small town), a zombie with several severe bites approaches on the other side of the fence. Scared, Rick is about to shoot the zombie but Morgan tells Rick the the zombie is not a threat and he needs to save the bullet.
