Superman and Krypto by Neil Vokes

Superman Adventures 40 (old Wounds)-written by Ty Templeton and Dan Slott and drawn by Neil Vokes and Terry Austin-is one of my favorite Krypto stories. I have never found a good Krypto page from the story for sale. Neil Vokes graciously agreed to this commission. Mxyzptlk travels to Krypton the week before its destruction and magically sends Krypto to present day Metropolis. He anonymously gives the puppy to Clark Kent, who does not recognize Krypto until the overwhelmed dog starts exhibiting his powers. In the end, the magic wears off and Krypto returns to Krypton where in this continuity he will die when the planet is destroyed. Superman is first enraged at Mxyzptlk and then sad for the second loss of his old friend As punishment for his actions, Mxyzptlk is turned into a fire hydrant by his government.
