Scott Hampton - Promotional piece for Wicked - The Graphic Novel

Scott did this piece thinking of using it to  promote Volume 2 of Wicked - The Graphic Novel.  Elphaba's castle was originally done for use as backgrounds for several other panels of the story.  But, here he has added the two main characters in the forefront to make a special showcase piece.. For the people that have complained that the art from the boolk is too small, this is, without a doubt, the largest piece he did for the book.  Done using mixed media with an image area of 20 x 24" on a larger 23 x 29" piece of heavy Strathmore watercolor paper.
