Sam's creativity was such a big inspiration to me. I've admired his work since I was a 10-year old kid in 1991 buying Marvel Comics Presents #89 off the rack at the Piggly Wiggly on Moss Street in Lafayette, Louisiana. I've also admired him as a person after following his blog and reading so many nice things about him over the years. I consider myself lucky to be able to hold a page he created in my hands, RIP Sam.

Well said, John! And congrats! I had my eye on this one too, but I'm glad it found a home with another fellow Kieth fan. Sam was creative singularity, RIP.

Kieth was so experimental at this stage of his career as he got the financial freedom to really go tell the stories he wanted without an editor over his shoulder. Dunbier knew that it was genius at work and just had to keep him on schedule.
