Mandalorian Season 2 Issue #3 Pg 29 (ft Mandalorian, Grogu, Frog Lady, and Frog Man)

Entering this collection at high velocity, it’s a Mandalorian Season Two page featuring Mando, Grogu, and the Frog People. I think I picked this page up as fast as Mando was flying. I am an absolute Grogu and Mandalorian fan, although I am no expert, so no need to check my fan trivia lol. It felt like the perfect time to drop this page since we are now one week out from showtime. My wife and I already bought tickets, and I think we might actually get to see it without kids in the way. An absolute miracle in my household.

Mandalorian Season 2 Issue #3 was published August 30, 2023. This issue adapts the eleventh episode of the television series Star Wars: The Mandalorian. In the lead up to this page, the Mandalorians are out to acquire a Gozanti freighter, and Mando leaves Grogu with the Frog People for a bit of Grogu sitting. In the first panel, you can see the captured Gozanti freighter in the background as Mando decides to hop off and embark on his quest to reunite Grogu with the Jedi. I love that Grogu is eyeing a tasty little Rybet snack in the second panel, with the Frog People right beside him.

I have collected quite a few pencil pages of the Frog Lady by Steven Cummings, but this is my first Frog Lady page by penciler Georges Jeanty and inker Karl Story. All equally talented artists that I truly appreciate. As a Frog Lady fan, it’s awesome to be able to add my first Frog Man as a balance to her force.

I am genuinely excited to bring this piece into the collection. People always say to collect what speaks to you, and this series, especially this page, shows exactly why that advice matters. I had just come off a sad streak, realizing I could not afford the heritage pages I wanted, but this hobby truly delivers when one thing passes you by. Hands down, I am even more ecstatic with these pages.
