I know I wanted something by Max Fiumara and I loved how he drew his women characters in Sacrificers so I thought I would gamble and see what he would do with some dangerous women from Marvel. The layout of the page creates an "X" as one-character moves with ballet like grace and the other moves in towards her like a feral cat. Max embraces these characters and makes them his own solidifying the fact that he's ready to go up a level on his next book since Sacrificers is now over.

Really nice composition. Max's Black Widow especially gives me Miller-esque action style/posing vibes! great commission, congrats.

Ooh, this one is giving me Jae Lee vibes. Really nice work. I love them both, but my money is gonna have to go with Mystique this time, even though she's likely the underdog!

I like the art, but thinking that mystique as an x character (baddy) and the pose of the 2 women here are making an "X" could have also worked with an X-Lady in her stead.
