Pinocchio: The Terrible Dogfish - Classic Fairy Tales 3 Sketch Card

Hey fellow collectors! This is an original sketch card I contributed to the Classic Fairy Tales 3 trading card set produced by Perna Studios.

For this piece, I wanted to pay homage to the darker elements of the original Pinocchio tale by depicting the giant Terrible Dogfish (often known as Monstro). I used a high-contrast, moody palette of deep greens and blacks to emphasize the creature's massive scale and the glowing light deep within its throat.

The set's presale just went live this weekend (May 23rd, 2026), featuring both Pack and Complete Set formats, each guaranteeing original hand-drawn art.
