Uncanny X-Men #29 Soccer Variant Cover, first Layout Proposal ,Jonas Scharf

This is the first pencil draft for the Soccer Variant Cover, featuring a slight difference in Wolverine’s pose compared to the published version.

Since the piece was entirely in pencil, I asked Jonas if he could "pimp up" Wolverine's head a bit to make it pop. He did it right there on the spot, inking directly over the original pencils to enhance the head! He also added a custom speech bubble for me with the quote: ‘NBG ist Gesetz’.
