Description
Here's another beautiful Tarzan strip from 1951... Tarzan in every panel by Bob Lubbers, with Tarzan looking for a cannibal village before his branch gives out and he faces the villagers!! This early 50s work is always so beautiful, hard to believe it's 75 years old!

These are of a certain time because of the high quality of the artwork!  Otherwise, they'd play well in any time period.

Man, Lubbers hadn't hit my radar yet. But look at that signature in panel 3! Just a great as the rest of the art.

What an adventure classic! I love that 50's flair it has. The art is superb!

This is so excellent! I love that last panel. Your strip art continues to grow, an awesome subset of your collection - makes me want to find a few more myself (I only have like 3 and they are too big for my scanner sadly...I gotta figure out getting good images).

Great example indeed! Your scans are usually really good, why does this one look like a scan of a photocopy of the original?

Good eye as always Ruben!! These old strips are oversized and by the time I tried to post it Anthony had already taken it down from his site. I tried a new app CamScanner but you're right that it definitely seems too white and I'll have to play with the settings
