Description

I have seen this on eBay for a while.  It was always listed at a set price, which I thought was high.  I decied the other day to shoot the owner a message and tell him what price I would be interested in the piece at.  Next thing I know I have an offer for that price in my inbox.  So, I now own three pieces of Looney Tunes art, and all three are covers.  This is my first cover without Buggs on it, on top of being my first with Sylvester and Tweety.  It is from July of 1977.  Maybe I'll shoot for a Cover featuring every Looney Tunes character?  So far I have Buggs (on 2), Elmer, Porky, Sylvester & Tweety.  Interesting challenge. Can't be more than a couple missing yet LOL.

A worthy goal as Looney Tunes was such a big influence for several generations from the 50's to 80's on Saturdays or in syndciation after school.  i wonder if there's a Road Runner and Coyote comic?

I really like the blacks/inks on Sylvester - Looney is a cool corner of the world to focus on as it's highly influential and fun yet I'm assuming not as highly in demand as other categories so I'd imagine the prices aren't outrageous- either way nice work taking initiative to reach out to the seller and offering up what you'd be willing to pay - you were rewarded!
