This is an original sketch that Randy Green drew for me of Babydoll, and I still remember the moment clearly...

I was with my wife when we stopped by Randy’s booth, and he was excitedly talking about his new comic, The Dollz. As we continued to talk, I found out that he was a believer, and that we shared the same faith and love for God. That made the meeting feel even more special for me.

I bought a poster from him and asked if he could draw the Dollmaker and Babydoll for me. We only had comic backing boards nearby, so that’s what he used. Because of that, this piece has always felt very personal. And not just because I love Babydoll and The Dollz, but because I remember the conversation, the excitement around the comic, and the connection we shared that day.

Babydoll is my favorite character of all time.
