Just trying to keep up with you!
That's a major pickup ~ Congrats!
That's a cover! Congrats Steve
Wow! This brings back memories of buying this off the newstand! Congrats! I wonder what happened to the Kirby Krackle on the sides of the cover?
I think It was on top of the white out?
Incredible add!
One of the most striking covers of their run! Betrayed by Colossus? Such suspense built into the story unfolding!
Outstanding and I'm beyond jealous!!
Classic cover from a mythic run congratsb
Cockrum could really frame a cover well, and everything comes out better with Austin inks.
Yes, it's an iconic cover from a legendary run, but more than that, it's just fun to look at!
Well done, Steve!
Definitely a nostalgic blast from my childhood. This is really amazing to see. Major congratulations. Thanks for sharing!
Congrats Steve, was wondering when you were going to get this up on CAF.
And now onto a Byrne X-Men cover hmm....
Holy whoa!!! Whatever you parted with it was worth it to get this!! Amazing. Huge congrats on this.
Uncannily awesome!!! Good thing I don't believe in jealousy
Anything from that run is pure gold. A cover by Cockrum...
absolutly a dream grail piece all in one, like buying a 66 mustang fully restored, just badass in the presence, congrats, i know this must been one heck of a deal to get done
Epic, EPIC add! I love seeing such classic vintage covers pop up on CAF. Well done!!
Congrats - these don't change hands very often!
Amen....hard to find and not easy to procure.
It was a blessing that Dave continued to produce covers for the title even after he stopped doing interiors. It could be argued that some of Dave's most iconic covers are as good as, if not better, than Byrne's. He created so many incredible images during his cover run and this is certainly one of the most memorable. It's quite the museum you're putting togther. Congratulations.
AMAZING COVER! Congrats!!
Triple Dog Doozy!
Congratulations! Worthy of sacrifices.
What a beauty!
Wow! Congrats on pulling the trigger to make this trade.
A++++
Nice one Steve,I'd sure like to see what u had to trade for this one !
Wow -that is a very special piece - a very classic cover
This is a show stopper cover! There is some extra magic in X-Men covers from this era, then you add in the Murder World factor and you've hit a massive home run with this one. CONGRATS!!!
Everybody else has correctly sung this cover's praises, and I'm not sure if I have much new to say, other than the Lenin insignia makes me smile every time I see it.
~Congratulations on adding this grail to your collection! It's always satifying to add a significant piece!
It looKs like another award nominee for 2026 cover of the year on CAF. Going to get my vote again!! Well done.
My guess is that Amir will win it with his Jim Lee X-Men cover but we will see.
Wow, wow, wow- huge congratulations Steve!
I know it annoyed John Byrne that Dave Cockrum was still drawing X-Men covers well into his run, but wow this is a great example of why Marvel kept giving him the job. I also liked it when Colossus was still a formidable character. Great inking by Terry Austin too! Congrats!
Great cover, congrats!
This is a whole new level of collecting. It's absolutely amazing. Congratulations, you're in a league of your own.
This is painfully good. Wow.
The CAF hits in your gallery just keep on rolling - what a great X-men cover - just a show stopper piece! Congrats!
