OBLAGON CRUISER (1995)

This was a CAD model that SYD MEAD had designed for his own enjoyment as "OBLAGON CRUISER", which later served as the basis for a spaceship titled “Bachelor Pod” featured in a 2000 special issue of *Playboy* magazine. At the time, it was still a work in progress, and the studio was hesitant to let it leave the premises, but after I pleaded with him, SYD finally printed it out—and when he did, I had him sign it with the date, labeling it a “plotted for XXX.”
