What a great blast from the past! I remember buying this issue off of the spinner rack at my local 7-11; I got a kick out of it then, but appreciate it even more now. I love the lighthearted storytelling and the art is top notch; especially that terrific 3rd panel. Congratulations on pulling the trigger on this nostalgic gem!
loved this issue, i was 9 when it hit that summer, i bought this issue from the jiffy mart that was right next to my apartment complex, with soda bottle money, i was so sroked because kt was a double sized issue, the amount lf riding around i did looking for bottles was ridiculous,lol, awesome page bill

Awesome Bill! I always loved this page. I know Dave Cockrum really enjoyed drawing humorous moments like this, especially since X-Men was often such a serious book.

Helluva way to break the cherry on the new End Page art type! Love the horizontal panel structure here with that center panel really standing out. Luke Skywalker reference on an UXM page is a beyond cool cherry on top of this OA Sundae (two Cherry references in one comment, yikes - I'm slipping...). Huge congrats on the page!
