Silver Surfer splash page

This piece is a one-page short story—more of a classic splash page, actually. It introduces the Sentinel of the Spaceways surfing the cosmos, alone with his own thoughts, in a way that feels like it could very well be the opening page of any of his iconic journeys. Stylistically, I wanted to pay homage to John Buscema, who is to me one of the greatest comic book artists ever.

Both the art and story are original creations and are not based on any specific published page. While there is a stylistic nod to "Big John" and the dialogue is reminiscent of the philosophical musings from classic Surfer lore, the execution is entirely my own. I love these timeless stories, and this is me putting that passion onto paper.
