The towering vertical composition culminates in a spectacular full-figure image of Invincible charging into action as the missile rises behind him. Adding major crossover significance, this exact comic book moment was recreated for the Amazon animated series in Season 3, Episode 3, “You Want a Real Costume, Right?” bringing the original composition to life on screen. Featuring pencils by Ryan Ottley and inks by Cliff Rathburn, this is a tremendous image of the title character from a pivotal era of the series, combining costume significance, explosive action, and a direct connection between the original comic and its acclaimed animated adaptation.
