Description

Well...this sketch has seen better days. The ballpoint pen lines are fading and the paper's darkening, but I was a huge fan of the Starlin Warlocks and I have a sentimental attachment to this piece.
And who knew when I got this as a kid, that Steve Oliffe would one day color a comic book I drew and I'd hang out with Steve Leialoha at NCS events.

I still remember, at conventions I'd show my stuff to Steve Leialoha and no matter which year it was, or how crappy my art was, he'd always say, "How old are you? Hm...You're about where I was at your age."

It may have been kind B.S. but it was always encouraging.
