Description

This was a commission request, and another of those times I get a neat idea in my head and - regardless of the time it'll take - I can't stop myself from going ahead with it.

The ink-job took a long time, particularly for the motorcycle, but working out the precise way to render the city was also a challenge. I really don't like inking, but when I do it I really try and make the ink work for me. There are times when it just works better than pencil, and illustrations with heavy blacks like this are one of those times.
