Sitting at his TransContinuity booth, I finally met Neal Adams this year.
He had a limit of two signed items per person and IIRC it cost extra for more signatures.
Anyways, I'd brought along my Superman/Muhammed Ali comic for him to sign and he talked about the recent ESPN insert he did showing Michael Jordan fighting Ali.
As a kid, that Superman/Ali book used to be a grail for me. I'd see it advertised in comics, but I could never get my hands on it.
The size of the comic also made it that much more desirable too, since it was like, "Wow, look how big Superman is." and I was a big fan of Muhammed Ali too.
Neal also had an 8.5" x 11" binder of finished sketches in varying prices and I remember there was a full-figure Deadman piece in there too.
I was actually surprised more people weren't waiting to meet him, considering how influential he's been to comics.
Everytime I walked by he was always drawing too, which I later found out were storyboards and such.
