Captain America by Andy Smith and Karl Story

On the days following August 8th-10th of 2003, I conveniently found myself on a business trip to Chicago, so I decided to hit Wizard World Chicago that weekend! Andy Smith was the first creator I found in Artist's Alley who appeared to have some spare time, so I asked and he (like so many others on that trip) graciously accepted the request! Karl Story ended up inking Andy's pencils probably a year or two later at the Baltimore Comic-Con (I've forgotten which year now), and it came out spectacularly. It's fascinating to see the outcome of a pairing like that where you wouldn't necessarily see them working together in the normal course of business!
