Description

"Le RAIL". Claude RENARD is mostly associated to the beginning of François SCHUITEN in comics field. Firstly, Mister RENARD has began as assistant of Mister Eddy PAAPE (after a few years of formation by him at Institut Saint-Luc , Bruxelles). Then he succed to PAAPE fonction. As teacher, during 8 years, at Saint-Luc, he will offers teaching lessons to a large number of modern european artists. François SCHUITEN is the most famous of then. Together, they have created two books in early 1980's "Aux Médianes de Cymbiola", "Le Rail". As designers they create the bondage world of Just JAECKIN's movie "GWENDOLINE". This work has been published by Humaoïdes Associés in 1984 : "Les Machinistes".
He is the creator of his own character "Ivan CASABLANCA" (2 books published by Humanoïdes Associés) and other miscellenious works.
