Description

Mike Perkins is such a cool guy. I was fortunate enough to get to spend some time with him as we explored a con in LA together. I tricked him and Ed Brubaker into thinking I was cool enough to waste time with....both very gullible, and extraordinarily talented. I still kinda don't like Brubaker....it's just wrong to kill off Captain America! Anyways... This is the only double splash Captain America I know of, other than a Kirby promo piece and a Byrne cover page. Compound that with the fact that it is done by one of the best up and coming artists, and it's from issue #24. This art will definitely be a focus piece for any collection, trade version,or volume Marvel spits out. The art is signed on the back by both Perkins-"Heroes never die!" and Brubaker-"says Mike" ....freakin' Brubaker
