I met up with Darren Davis at the 2005 San Diego Comic Con after a couple of e-mails to show him my portfolio of work. He liked what he saw and asked for me to do a cover for one of his books from Bluewater productions titled "The 10th Muse." Using Cindy Margolis as the reference I came up with this image. I try to keep things real simple when it comes to backgrounds because I want the focus to be on the heroine.
