Stormwatch 49 page 1 by Tom Raney

To me Stormwatch by Ellis and Raney marks the debut of a more adult and ultra violent take on super-heroes.A new modern spin on them if you will.And this 2 pages sequence illustrates this to the extreme.In this scene, Blind, who's an extreme parody of Midnighter (himself one of Batman) but on the side of Evil, reanimates Malcolm King who's passed out, Jackson King's kid brother (Jackson being the current Stormwatch leader as weatherman) to show him the results of what he's done to him as he played with him (read torture).This is unbelievably creepy and sick but I found this scene to be incredibly powerful emotionaly.I've literally had my eyes on these pages for years so it's with great pleasure that I show them here :)
