Description

This image drew inspiration from two sources. The first is that ubiquitous Evolution of Man sequence (you know, the one with the caveman changing into homo sapien). The second is an old John Byrne Marvel Two In One story (I think it was issue 50) where new Thing meets older even uglier old Thing. I thought it would be neat to chart the major stages in the Thing's development - from sludge lump, to rock pile, to current - one one drawing. Hope you enjoy!
