I'd have to agree with the comment already made: it is everything Batman should be. Dark, evocative of mystery, almost an invisibility to Batman by the police. They're looking all over for something and he's invisible, as he should be, to them. I would love to get my hands on the Scholastic books these pieces came from. The art makes me want to know what's going on in what appears to be a museum, or a mansion? I especially like Byrne's use of black and white. I really enjoy Byrne's work in black and white.
