That's not watercolor at the bottom, it's coffee. He accidentally spilled coffee on it, and decided to work it into the piece. Way to improvise Mike! Love it.

What a hilarious, wonderful story about the coffee stain... Outstanding! Living without a net and creating great art wherever it can be created: I prefer my Oeming “sans coaster”. :) Beautiful piece - love it!
