Wonderful image of Odie in a janitorial outfit or maintenance dog for the book version of Garfield's His 9 Live: Babes and Bullets. Done on dark graphite with blue pencils on a 16 field animation sheet by assistant animator Dick Williams. Circa 1984 Film Roman. In 1989 parts of the book was adapted into half hour animated TV specials for CBS and one part won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program "Garfield's Babes and Bullets". i have never seen anything like this before and it has grabbed my curosity. i never knew there was 80s animation based off of Garfield so this is quite surprising to me. thanks for posting. this may be a true one of a kind.
