There is a special significance to OML pieces like this one in which you have retained the same artist to re-interpret a later scene for your cover recreations. These pieces, perhaps more than others, show how and whether the artist has changed. In this case, the growth in Golden's artistic vision is undeniable. If he were a photographer before, recording a scene in painstaking detail, then he is a movie director now, providing us with depth, field of vision and characters who have refined their acting abilities to more strongly convey emotions and intent (even through their armor). Rubenstein's inks are icing on a sweet cake, it is not coincidence that (I believe, and I'm sure that there will be many subsequent posts if I am wrong) the man has inked more different pencillers than anyone ever in the history of comics and his inks have looked great on every single one. Congratulations on a sweet acquisition!
