George Perez Captain America

My first George Perez sketch. I was lucky to meet him for the first time in 1996 at Orlando MegaCon (I think), and he was offering to do sketches. He was asking $100 and said he would draw it at home and mail it to me. That was a lot at the time, but you gotta go for it in this hobby! I think I paid an extra $25 to get George to draw the flag so it came out to an extra 50 cents a star (count 'em!), ha ha! It came in the mail during the Christmas season, and it was a nice surprise gift to myself...
